Acting
Though acting in my own home movies was always a favorite pastime of mine as a child, I only discovered stage acting by accident, when I just wanted to do something to hang out with my friend in 5th grade. Since then, I have been in a stage production almost every year. I have a total of 10 years of shows under my belt. These are some of my most recent performances.

TRUE WEST
Eric Lander performed in a production of True West at Bridgewater State University in February 2018. Directed by Michael Eckenreiter, Eric played Lee, and was nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship for his performance in this role.
Gypsy
In the Fall of 2017, Eric Lander was cast in a performance of Gypsy directed by Colleen Rua at Bridgewater State University. Eric played the roles of Rich man, Weber, and Mr. Goldstone.

Beauty and the Beast
In Spring of 2017, Eric Lander played Gaston in On Stage Performing Arts' production of Beauty and the Beast. The show was put on in Hanson, Massachusetts.

Hand to God
In Spring 2019, Eric performed in Hand to God directed by Alyssa Germaine at Bridgewater State University. Eric played Jason and his possessed puppet, Tyrone. For his performance in this role, Eric was nominated for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship.

Urinetown (the musical)
Fall 2019 saw Eric take the stage in Bridgewater State University's production of Urinetown (the musical) as Officer Lockstock, a hardened cop with a soft heart, who also happens to be the narrator.

Never the Sinner
Spring 2025 Eric played Richard Loeb in Reverie Theatre Group's production of Never the Sinner directed by Nicholas Francis D'Amico in Providence, RI. The play follows the Leopold & Loeb murder trial, described as the crime of the (20th) century. Loeb is a complex character who struggles to form connections beyond his lover and partner in crime - a connection he also struggles to maintain - as his selfish violent tendencies lead him to commit murder and ultimately lose the ones he loves. Eric's portrayal of Richard Loeb has been described as "unsettling," and "the worst". Audiences leave the theater hating this man's guts. And why wouldn't they?
