Evigilation
Campus Movie Fest 2020 came at a difficult time. I had spent months planning my film, and then the COVID-19 pandemic caused everything to shut down, including my school's Campus Movie Fest event. Luckily, the folks at CMF decided to extend a gesture to all the schools that missed out on the competition due to quarantine and opened CMF Online. I was forced to come up with a brand new idea that I would be able to do by myself in my apartment in just a week, and the film that came from that is Evigilation. I ended up using this Campus Movie Fest as an opportunity to focus on the technical aspects of film making as opposed to writing, since I had so little time and resources. This film went on to win a Jury Award, as well as a Golden Tripod and Silver Tripod for Best Sound at CMF Terminus.

Cult Following
Campus Movie Fest 2019 was in planning months ahead of time. I knew I wanted to write and direct something of my own, and I was determined to make a great story. A young man, seeking relief from the cult that has been stalking him his whole life, finds a guy who he believes could help him perform an unwilling switcharoo to escape his destiny of becoming the vessel for the cult's demon overlord. Showed among the top 16 at Bridgewater State University, Cult Following also received the Silver Tripod Award for Best Story. It later sent to Terminus Festival in Atlanta, GA to receive the Golden tripod nomination for Best Story.

Event Technology Training Videos
Gaffer's Tape
When I was asked to create training videos for work at the Event Technology department of University Events, I was asked to make something useful but also entertaining enough to hold new workers' attention. The first video I made as a sort of demo was Gaffer's Tape. I knew from the start I wanted to make it like a bad 90s infomercial, and I went a bit overboard giving it a bad VHS effect. I was also hesitant to make it too outrageous, but the humor went over well with my boss, which set the tone for future videos.

Council Chambers Wireless Mic Training
For my second training video for Event Technology, I took a slightly different route, in that I decided to have someone else host/narrate. This video did not follow the infomercial format, but I continued with the VHS effect to give the series of training videos a sense of visual consistency. I decided to change the humor up, also. Instead of a goofy 90s parody, I went with much stiffer deadpan gags for the most part.

Nights & Weekends
This time I switched things up entirely. For the night and weekend training, things got spooky. The typical VHS feel was reserved for POV shots from an unseen eye. The video was still made to be comedic despite the horror elements, however, creating almost a horror spoof training video.

Davinci Training
Back on the VHS track, and back on the non-horror comedy track, I created a training video for the Davinci program. I did some very simple effects this time around, putting two of myself on screen at the same time.

Scalp Treatment
In late January, a group of friends, including myself, at the American College Theater Festival decided to participate in the upcoming Campus Movie Fest. I signed onto the project as Director of Photography and Video Editor. Over the course of 7 days, we were challenged to make a 5 minute movie, and so we produced Scalp Treatment. It follows the devious actions of a crazed hair dresser. The film was screened at Campus Movie Fest at Bridgewater State University, among the top 16 films. It then went on to win the Silver Tripod Awards for Production Design as well as Best Performance by Samantha McMahon. At the end of the night, the top four films were announced via the Jury Awards. Scalp Treatment was chosen as one of these films, and it was sent to the Terminus Festival in Atlanta afterward, where it was then nominated for a Golden Tripod in Production Design.

Believer Music Video
Our second project in Video Editing. We were given the footage and audio Imagine Dragons used for their Believer music video thanks to the Adobe Make the Cut contest from a while back. I cut together this music video based on a small list of requirements. We needed 3 uses of overlays, 3 uses of color grading, 3 uses of syncing lips, and all band members had to be shown. In Adobe Premier, I experimented a lot with zooming and time dilation.
The Princess Bride Trailer
My first class project in Video Editing. We were tasked with making a "high intensity" or more modern trailer of a movie form a given list. I chose The Princess Bride, one of my favorite movies. We were required to have a couple clips of audio from the movie, at least 3 custom titles, had to meet a time requirement, along with other specific requirements. My biggest regret here is that the files we had access to forced me to have letterboxes all around my video due to several formatting issues in getting the film onto our computers.

This was my final project for my Beginning Videography class. We were not allowed any clear dialogue or text conversations in this film. Once again I decided to play around with sounds, shooting for a cartoonish vibe.
This film follows a very manly cop named Shark who just can't seems to find any action on the job. All until one day he finds a heartbroken, littering teen who just may be the arrest he needs to make "officer of the month".

This project experienced a lot of technical problems during post production, and as a consequence, the video and sound are both lower qualities than they should be.

My first class project for Beginning Videography.
It features a mysterious clown figure that appeared one day and seems to find itself in many thing I create. This was an experimental film project, I decided to focus on making sounds with my own body and a guitar that I can not play very well. I also decided to play around with zooming.
